Description
The AKG Perception Wireless Sports Set is a UHF wireless microphone system specifically configured for fitness instructors, choreographers, and active stage performers. Operating within the 530 MHz to 560 MHz frequency band, this system provides a secure, interference-free audio transmission range of approximately 100 feet.
The core of the package is the C544 L head-worn condenser microphone, which features an external shock mount mechanism that aggressively rejects mechanical noise from physical movement. To withstand rigorous physical activity, the microphone capsule is protected by a specialized moisture shield, preventing sweat and humidity from degrading the internal components. The set includes the compact PT45 bodypack transmitter, recognized for its exceptionally lightweight footprint, and the SR45 stationary receiver, which offers both balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4-inch outputs.
This system delivers highly intelligible vocal reproduction while affording the user complete physical mobility.
Who Is This For?:
This wireless system is strictly designed for fitness instructors, active presenters, and dancing stage performers who require hands-free vocal amplification. Users needing a microphone that resists heavy perspiration and stays securely mounted during high-impact physical routines will heavily rely on this specific hardware configuration.
Key Features:
C544 L Moisture-Resistant Headset
The included condenser headset microphone is engineered with a protective moisture shield to deflect sweat and humidity away from the sensitive transducer. This significantly extends the operational lifespan of the microphone, preventing the short-circuits and capsule degradation commonly associated with high-intensity fitness classes.
Mechanical Shock Mount System
The headset incorporates an external shock mount structure that isolates the microphone capsule from the physical frame. This mechanical isolation prevents the heavy footsteps, jumping, and general body movements of the instructor from transferring low-frequency thumping noises into the live audio feed.
PT45 Lightweight Bodypack Transmitter
The PT45 bodypack is designed to be physically unobtrusive and extremely lightweight, preventing it from interfering with the user’s mobility or exercise routine. Operating on a single AA battery, it provides up to 10 hours of continuous transmission, ensuring reliability throughout multiple consecutive classes or performances.
