The Carlo Giordano EV202 Electric Violin successfully merges striking modern aesthetics with highly practical electronic functionality, offering string players a remarkably versatile tool for stage performance and silent practice. Featuring an eye-catching, minimalist skeletal frame design, this instrument drastically reduces physical weight while perfectly maintaining the essential physical touchpoints required for traditional classical technique.
The built-in active pickup system accurately captures the nuanced friction and dynamics of the bow, routing the pristine audio signal through an integrated EQ and volume control panel located conveniently on the lower bout. This integrated configuration allows players to plug directly into an amplifier for high-volume live gigs, utilize effects pedals for exploring contemporary genres, or easily connect headphones for completely silent, unobtrusive rehearsal. Available in brilliant high-gloss finishes including Natural, Purple, and Black, the EV202 provides a seamless, highly engaging transition for acoustic players looking to creatively explore the amplified string world.
Who Is This For?:
This electric violin is ideal for gigging musicians seeking a feedback-resistant instrument for live amplified settings, as well as students needing a dedicated silent practice solution. Its standard dimensions make it an effortless crossover instrument for classically trained players venturing into pop, rock, or experimental music.
Key Features Breakdown:
Lightweight Skeletal Body Design
The radically innovative cutaway frame entirely eliminates the resonant acoustic chamber, drastically reducing the instrument’s overall weight while entirely preventing onstage microphone feedback. Despite the highly minimalist body shape, the upper and lower bouts meticulously maintain standard physical reference points, ensuring seamless left-hand shifting and traditional bowing angles.
Integrated Active EQ and Volume Control
A built-in electronic control module grants the player immediate, tactile control over their output volume level and tonal profile directly from the instrument body. This highly accessible control panel allows for quick, on-the-fly sonic adjustments during a live performance without ever needing to interact with a complicated pedalboard or off-stage mixing console.
Versatile Output Options
Equipped with standard audio output jacks, the instrument easily and reliably connects to stage amplifiers, PA systems, or digital recording interfaces. Additionally, the electronic system supports direct headphone connectivity, instantly transforming the violin into the ultimate silent practice tool for late-night rehearsals in shared living spaces.
Striking Visual Finishes
Available in bold, visually arresting colors including Natural, Purple, and Black, the high-gloss aesthetic ensures a highly commanding and professional stage presence. The sleek, deeply modern look beautifully complements contemporary musical acts and allows the performer to confidently express their individual artistic style visually.
