Description
Harnessing aggressive, vintage-inspired saturation without sacrificing low-end clarity defines the incredible utility of the MXR M84 Bass Fuzz Deluxe. By providing independent dry and wet level controls, this circuit ensures that the essential punch of your bass remains totally uncompromised, even when drenched in thick, harmonic fuzz.
Players will immediately notice how dynamically the pedal responds to picking intensity, allowing the gritty overdrive to bloom beautifully under heavy attack or clean up during softer, nuanced passages. This delicate balance translates into a deeply satisfying, muscular tone that effortlessly cuts through dense mixes while maintaining a profoundly tactile, responsive feel.
DESCRIPTION:
To create the MXR Bass Fuzz Deluxe, we dug up a rare vintage fuzz and modified it for the modern bassist. The resulting stompbox delivers a cutting and bold fuzz tone without degrading the punch and clarity of your original signal.
With separate Dry and Wet level controls, the Bass Fuzz Deluxe sounds like you’re running two different amps. Blend to taste, from subtle hairiness to full on raging fuzz, with Fuzz and Tone controls affecting only the Wet signal. The Bass Fuzz Deluxe features true hardwire bypass.
