Description
THOMASTIK-INFELD PLECTRUM ACOUSTIC GUITAR STRINGS
What makes Thomastik-Infeld different?
Pursuing the perfect sound, Thomastik-Infeld starts with steel and nylon as core materials for their strings. The highly qualified technicians then wind and check every string by hand in order to insure quality and perfect tone. Infeld and his staff continually pursue the ever changing musical world, applying the evolving preferences in timbre, technique, and playing to their own imagination in pursuit of delivering perfection.
A remarkable string that prompts comments
like: “l never knew a string like this existed!”.
The combination of lower overall tension,
hybrid arrangement of flatwound (A, D, G) with
roundwound low E and silk inlays (for precise
overtone balance) produces a beautiful, almost
classical tone, with the warmth of bronze and
the easy playability of a fine set of jazz strings.
And because of its low, evenly balanced tensions,
PLECTRUMS can extend the playing life
of many fine older guitars with weak bracing or
other special age conditions.
