This exceptional chromatic harmonica is hand made by the Hohner company. This professional instrument has 10 oversize holes, each of which can play 2 different notes – 1 by blowing, the other by drawing, just like a normal harmonica.
However, there is a lever on the right side of the instrument which will allow you to play the notes that are ‘missing’ from the C scale.
When you depress the lever, the note that you are playing automatically goes up one half step. The lever is spring-loaded, so that releasing it instantly returns your harmonica to its original key.
