Description
The 2022 edition of the Orange O Bass brings back the undeniable retro charm and thunderous tone of the 2015 original, updated with refined playability and elevated aesthetics. Featuring a lightweight West African Okoumé body in a sleek black finish, this single-cutaway bass looks as striking as it sounds.
At the heart of the O Bass is a custom-wound split-coil humbucker, strategically positioned slightly closer to the neck than traditional designs. This unique placement delivers a deeply resonant, warm growl that can effortlessly shift from earthy Motown thumps to grinding, harmonic-rich rock ‘n’ roll tones with a simple adjustment of the passive tone knob.
The 2022 upgrades include a premium binding around the entire instrument and a matching black headstock for a timeless, classy appearance. Its bolt-on maple neck and super-durable purpleheart fretboard provide a balanced, highly playable feel, whether you are picking, slapping, or playing fingerstyle. Complete with a padded Orange gig bag, this is a road-ready powerhouse dripping with attitude.
