Built around Yamaha’s acclaimed A Series platform, the A3M ARE is designed to excel both acoustically and through a PA system. The solid Sitka spruce top benefits from Yamaha’s exclusive A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) treatment, giving the instrument a mature, open character from the very first note while preserving excellent dynamic range.
Solid mahogany back and sides provide warm mids, articulate lows and controlled projection, making the guitar equally suited to strumming, fingerstyle playing and modern singer-songwriter performances. Yamaha’s redesigned scalloped bracing increases resonance and volume while maintaining excellent note definition across the frequency spectrum.
The comfortable African mahogany neck features a player-friendly profile that feels fast and familiar, while the ebony fingerboard and bridge contribute outstanding durability, smooth playability and enhanced sustain.
For live performance, the integrated SYSTEM71 SRT2 electronics deliver remarkably authentic amplified acoustic tone. Players can blend the SRT2 microphone modelling with the under-saddle piezo pickup, offering flexible control over warmth, clarity and feedback resistance in virtually any venue.
